Avios for Adult+Infant on CX
I'm about to advance&transfer a bunch of MR to avios, so I want to be sure what I'm seeing is correct first.
On BAEC I see SFO-MNL in business on Cathay for one adult, 85000 miles plus small fees. For adult + lap infant it's 93500 plus small fees. I can't find any policy on BA or CX about buying a lap infant ticket for 10% of miles...so I want to be sure, is this for real? These tickets are for my wife and child, I don't want them to encounter any issues along the way.
Thanks!

Yes, infant tickets (without a seat) are 10% Avios, booked and flew recently.

10% of the miles + some taxes/fees is for real for BA-issued lap-child infant tickets done in conjunction with adult award tickets. It's a nice benefit that BA work this way as a lot of other airlines use 10% of some fare+ (which may sometimes even be more expensive than the cost of buying a regular paid ticket for an infant, lap-child or otherwise).

I can confirm the Avios part - LA Jr enjoyed his second birthday on a trip to Dubai in May and then enjoyed flying F, with a seat, for 10% of the normal Avios amount on the way home.

Now that I'm not behind a corporate firewall I can post proof - the pilots are getting a bit young these days, aren't they

Really? Thanks. That would be news to me, but we have two stating the same thing.
Where is Raffles? He's probably got some experience with this too.
